Empty mantle clock case. No hands dial or clock mechanism is included, just the empty case . I have seen this design elsewhere marked as Smith Enfield and Bakelite. I can not warrant that either is true. To my eye it has a Bakelite look but could still be another early plastic. Generally good condition for its age. There are 4 cracks in the corners the rear of the case associated with four rivets. I have tried to show these in the photographs. I am not sure that the drilled hole in the base is original. Perhaps there was an intention to fit an electric movement. If it is original the case may never have housed a clockwork movement and been factory fitted with an electric movement. Sold as seen, spares and repair no returns.
