These 2 (1 butterscotch and 1 burgundy) rare vintage Bakelite Corporation Silver Anniversary medallions, tokens, or poker chips were made to commemorate the company's 25th anniversary (1910 to 1935). The diameter of each is 1-3/8". The back of each reads "This Bakelite molded medallion was made in a Lauterback Rotary Automatic Press using Beryllium copper molds by Gorham." Made in the United States, these collectible pieces are a nostalgic piece of history for enthusiasts of vintage memorabilia. The Bakelite logo material (first fully synthetic plastic) adds to the charm and uniqueness of these items, making them a valuable addition to any collection of retro and historical keepsakes.
