Hello and here is an update on my journey with CO2 DOT Therapy Laser at @drmichaelkernohan 😊

5 weeks ago, I shared my first experience and today, after my second session just 3 days ago, I was very keen to create a post with the latest images 💫
The results after my first session were amazing and I decided to have one more to maximise the benefits of this incredible laser treatment.

At home, I’ve been using my @currentbody LED mask almost daily—it’s become my go-to skincare tool for almost 2 years. I did check with Dr. Kernohan as to whether I could use it to speed up my healing post-laser, and after just 20 minutes this morning, the swelling is significantly reduced with zero discomfort from the dryness of my skin. I’m now inspired to use it twice a day until all redness disappears.

I’ve been a big fan of @beckerminty Sydney for years, so when this stunning, eclectic store opened in Salamanca Place, Hobart, I was beyond thrilled! The interior design of Becker Minty is truly breathtaking. As you make your way towards the back of the store, you’re greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook a rock facade adorned with trickling water and lush greenery – it’s an experience that truly wows.
Shopping here is an absolute delight. We enjoyed exploring their beautifully curated selection of art, fashion, jewellery and home decor. One particular treasure that caught my eye was a pair of hearts carved from Pyrite, which I couldn’t resist purchasing as a memento of a memorable Mother and Daughter trip to Tasmania.

Oh, how I wish my mother had hidden the tweezers when I was 13! Once I discovered them, there was no going back and my self-shaping brow journey started. Sadly, it did not end well. I am now one of the many women who are constantly trying to grow their eyebrows back - without success.

There was not a chance that was to happen to my daughter, who inherited my big black brows.
At 13, I whisked her off to a professional brow carer who made her promise not to touch tweezers until she was much older. Now, she presents her statement brows with pride, mastering their upkeep like a pro.

One vital lesson I picked up early in my fashion career at 25 is that style is a personal choice and a reflection of our individuality, regardless of age. Look around, especially on Instagram—style knows no age limit.

Personally, I draw inspiration from styles I’ve worn in every decade of my life (well, maybe not the first one! 😄). I still wear t-shirts, sneakers, and jeans reminiscent of my teens. Leather and suit were my go-to in my 20s and continue to feature in my outfits of the day (OOTD). Silks and dresses were my passion in my 30s and since my 40s, I’ve enjoyed blending them all together.

Now more than ever, I encourage the clients I style to revisit the past, recreate, and enjoy what they once loved to wear. Why create a completely new you?

I strongly believe that having the freedom to choose is crucial for living authentically in our later stages of life. Let’s embrace and foster that freedom.

One of our favourite places to visit in Tasmania is Maria Island, a short ferry ride from the mainland. Our mission this time was to get to reach the top of Bishop and Clerk. The rocks were definitely a challenge but the breathtaking view and the exhilaration was worth the broken fingernail and blister on my heel.
Would I do it on my own? Absolutely not!
This place is meant for sharing and I could not have asked for a better companion ❤️
